As we all know (and if you don't, you should!) Harry Potter and the Halfblood Prince was released in the US today. Being the obsessed fan that I am, I and three friends went to see the movie at midnight. The movie was around two and a half hours so, I got home a little past 3 in the morning. ANYWAY. As soon as I got home, I immediately opened a notebook and jotted down a bunch of notes that I wanted to remember the following day, ie. right now.

Let me just add this quick little disclaimer:

Disclaimer: I do not own Harry Potter. I thoroughly wish I did, but I don't and it's sad. But I do own the thoughts that follow this LJ cut. It's my opinion. If you don't agree with it, ah well. It's not really going to bother me; I just want to give my opinion to my fellow diehard fans that have and have yet to see the movie.

Oh, and obviously: there are spoilers following the cuts.

OH, also I wanted to mention that it has been a good year or so since I read HBP, so my memory is a bit fuzzy. Once the movie comes out on DVD, I might reread, re-watch, and review (haha) again.

I loved this movie.

As a movie, it was amazingly shot, well acted, and thrilling.
